Imbradas Church
Construction in 1786-1787 and the 1891 renewal
The diocesan history says that Pranciškus Molis had the church built in 1786-1787, while the Universal Lithuanian Encyclopedia summarises the date as 1787. The building was renovated and given a sacristy in 1891.
The year 1891 marks the renewal and sacristy extension, not the church's original construction.
A timber church with a separate belfry
The rectangular timber church has a three-sided apse, sacristy, small roof turret and pale columned porch. A separate timber belfry stands inside the walled churchyard.
A masonry wall and mature trees enclose the rural churchyard. Church, belfry and churchyard belong to one coherent sacred-heritage stop rather than separate attractions.
Altars and artworks
The single nave contains three altars. The encyclopedia records paintings of Saint Jerome from the late eighteenth century and Saint John the Evangelist from the early nineteenth, as well as Christ in Gethsemane and Saint Martin with a beggar.
Other recorded objects include two nineteenth-century timber crosses, a Neo-Baroque portable altar and classical candlesticks cast by V. Feldman in 1811. Whether they can be seen depends on interior access.
