A distinct Jūra waterfront venue

The municipal plan lists the Summer Stage at J. Tumo-Vaižganto g. 1. Some event records use 1A as a numbering variant for the same venue.

The stage stands in the context of Jūra River Park, but the two have separate map identities: one is an event venue, the other an everyday public park.

Concerts, festivals and fairs

The stage hosts fairs, festivals, sporting events, concerts and other public programmes. The Cultural Centre programme confirms that the stage is used for concerts.

Roofs, screens, lights, sound equipment and seating seen in photographs can be temporary event production, not permanent architecture.

Tickets, timing and arrival

There are no fixed daily opening hours. Some municipal celebrations may be free while other concerts are ticketed; ticket and access conditions are set out by the event organiser.

Entry, traffic and crowd routes may change on event days. Parking and step-free access depend on the programme.

A changing event experience

Stage, roof, screens, sound, and seating may be installed only for a particular event. Plan a full visit around the municipality or Cultural Centre programme.

Outside an event, visitors can see the site surroundings, while the stage and event equipment may not be operating.
