From an 800 sq m plot to more than 1.5 hectares
The farm's story began with a single lavender plant tended by the family and its first 800 sq m field. The official history now records more than 15,000 sq m, or 1.5 hectares, planted with lavender. Three generations work on the farm, making it considerably more than a seasonal photo set.
A garden of perennial, medicinal, culinary, and ornamental plants is developing alongside the purple rows. It gives the site interest even as peak lavender bloom begins to fade. Spring temperatures, rain, and the individual cultivars influence each year's flowering, however, so nobody can promise one exact peak-bloom date in advance.
What visitors can see and taste
A self-guided visit centres on the maintained lavender plots and other plant collections. Take time to notice different planting forms, watch pollinators, and photograph the rows from the paths without stepping into the beds. This remains a working private farm, and visitor areas can change with seasonal tasks.
The site has a shop and a seasonal café. The farm presents its own lavender hydrosol, honey, candles, teas, syrup, and other products, while the café advertises lavender tea, natural lemonade, and homemade lavender ice cream. The precise range and stock depend on the season, so ask ahead if one particular item is central to your trip.
From seed to product: the educational programme
The advance-booked programme “Lavender: From Seed to Product” explains the farm's development, lavender cultivation, and uses of the plant. Participants explore collections of medicinal, culinary, and ornamental plants, compare aromas, and taste drinks and lavender ice cream prepared at the farm.
On 25 July 2026, the official page listed a 1.5-hour duration, groups of 20-50 people, a June-September season, and a price of €15 per person. Booking is required. For September, the advertised schedule was Saturday-Sunday 10 am-6 pm, with standard admission at €4, concession admission at €3, and free entry for children up to six. Bring water, a sun hat, and sun protection in summer; choose damp-weather footwear after rain. Flowering plants attract bees and other insects, so visitors with severe allergies should carry their personally prescribed medication. Do not pick flowers or cross planted beds, and arrange professional photo sessions with the owners. Allow 1-2 hours for an ordinary visit.
