This is a church of the Pomorian Old Believer community, not a parish of the Lithuanian Orthodox Church. Two onion domes with a gold-like finish crown the main tower and lower nave, each carrying a three-bar cross characteristic of the Old Believer tradition. About one hundred icons and community memory

A wooden iconostasis forms the centre of the interior, separating the prayer hall from the sacred eastern section. It contains approximately one hundred icons. Some were purchased with donations, but particularly meaningful are older images given by families whose ancestors preserved them through displacement and Soviet restrictions.

Klaipėda artist Anatolijus Klemencovas helped shape the interior. Visitors should look beyond the gilded iconostasis as a whole to the varied age and surfaces of individual icons and their place in community history.
