Red-brick Neo-Gothic architecture in Gruzdžiai

Construction of the present masonry church began in 1896. Official local history records worship from 1901 and consecration in 1920.

A tall central tower, pointed arches, and patterned red brick make the Neo-Gothic style unmistakable. The church shapes the scale of Gruzdžiai rather than reading as a generic rural chapel.
