The 2023 implementation report describes the completed leisure space as open to people from Vilkyčiai and nearby villages as well as visitors. It is a community park, not a continuously staffed botanical garden or a ticketed attraction.

What was demonstrably installed in 2023
The community report dated 26 July 2023 confirms a new leisure zone and a durable shelter designed for the landscape. The Ministry of Agriculture provided €5,465 and the community added €1,319 from wind-energy support funds.
The same report still described a table, fire site, changing cabin, and bio-toilet as future work. Without a newer completion record, these facilities should not be promised to visitors.
The 2026 award and responsible visiting
A municipal list dated 10 July 2026 awards €2,000 to the association Vilkytė for Together We Create Vilkyčiai Park. It confirms a funding decision but identifies no particular work, purchase, or completed facility.
Protect planting, take litter away, and follow signs on site. Use another area if work or barriers restrict access, and do not assume that swimming or a fire site is authorised solely because an older project text mentions water or future amenities.
