Where sessions take place after the temporary July residency

On 8 September 2026, both the official Trail of Angels Vilnius page and the FAQ list the Sensory Art Centre at A. Vienuolio g. 4. The announced 1–31 July residency at the House of Histories, T. Kosciuškos g. 3, has ended; do not use that temporary address as the current session venue. Check your specific ticket before travelling, since the operator also offers sessions at other Vilnius venues.

The map marks the A. Vienuolio g. 4 building using OpenStreetMap, rather than a verified door into the centre. Follow the entrance and arrival instructions on your ticket or ask the organiser.

Two different journeys through Čiurlionis

Trail of Angels is an interactive VR work directed by Kristina Buožytė and premiered on 29 August 2018. It connects about 60 familiar and lesser-known Čiurlionis paintings and turns the viewer into a moving participant in a space of image and music.

Creation of Worlds, directed by Kristina Buožytė and Vitalijus Žukas, premiered on 21 February 2025. It draws on the cycles Creation of the World, The City, The Flood, Fantasies, Sonata of the Serpent, the triptych Fairy Tale, and The Tale of Kings, with musical interpretation by Rokas Zubovas and Phil Von.

What happens during the fifty-minute session

A Vilnius session is more than time in a VR headset. The official total is about 50 minutes: approximately 20 minutes of 300-degree projection is followed by instruction and the selected individual VR work. Creation of Worlds lasts about 30 minutes, while official descriptions place Trail of Angels at about 23-25 minutes.

Sessions begin at a fixed time because staff prepare the equipment and instruct each group. Late admission may not be possible. Tell staff in advance about dizziness, spectacles, mobility, or other health needs; Creation of Worlds can be experienced seated.

Tickets, age, and reservations

On 2026-07-21, the official Vilnius page listed a standard e-ticket at EUR 20, concession at EUR 13, and family ticket at EUR 45. Concessions applied to pupils, students, seniors, visitors with disabilities, POLA cardholders, and teachers with valid proof. Confirm prices before purchase.

Tickets are assigned to a session, and advance booking is recommended because times sell out. The organiser recommends Creation of Worlds for children aged six and over. Door sales depend on availability, and the official information states that payment on site is by bank card only.
