The centre's history in Kuršėnai Manor
A Folk Art and Crafts Centre was established in the Kuršėnai manor setting in 2000 and became a Šiauliai District municipal budget institution in 2006. The present centre developed as an ongoing regional cultural institution rather than a short-term exhibition.
The manor officina was reconstructed and adapted in 2011-2012, while cultural and educational activity returned to the restored palace after its restoration in 2021.
