Kristiano Alpaca Farm, Kristiano Alpakos
A farm named after its first male, Kristianas
Rasa Sudeikytė began developing the farm in Bartininkai in 2021. The first herd consisted of nine alpacas: a male named Kristianas and eight females. His name became the name of the entire farm. The initial plan was simply to raise animals at the homestead, but interest from curious visitors encouraged Rasa to open it to the public.
The farm occupies a green setting close to the forests of Kazlų Rūda Municipality. Its official website presents it as a family destination where learning about animals is combined with time outdoors. Herd size and the mix of other farm animals can change, so visitors should not rely on an old count when planning their trip.
Meeting alpacas and discovering their fleece
The main experience takes place outdoors beside the paddocks and pasture. The Kazlų Rūda municipal description says visitors can observe, touch, stroke and hand-feed the animals and, with supervision, walk an alpaca on a halter. Every activity depends on the animals' condition that day and the instructions given by the staff.

Lithuania's State Food and Veterinary Service explains that an alpaca's main foods are hay and pasture grass, while concentrated feed must be rationed according to the individual animal's condition. A snack brought from home can disrupt that diet, so wait for the keeper's instructions and let the alpaca approach voluntarily.

On 25 July 2026, the official website stated that individual visitors were welcome on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 16:00 without advance registration. The farm was listed as closed for ordinary visits from Monday to Friday, although private educational sessions and group tours could be arranged in advance by calling +370 636 55487.
The prices published on the same date were EUR 7 for adults, EUR 5 for children under seven, and free entry for children under two. Hours, seasonal arrangements and prices can change, so check the official website before a longer journey, particularly on public holidays, in winter or during unsuitable weather.
