Lake Kapstatas lies in Klaipėda District, about 1 km north of Endriejavas. The official lake register uses Kapstatas, while the municipality's eldership page uses Kapstato ežeras. Search for both forms when navigating: they describe the same lake, not two separate bodies of water.

The lake runs roughly 1.2 km from west to east, reaches up to 0.5 km in width, and has a stated maximum depth of 2.4 m. Its shores are low, the eastern edge is wooded, and the Paežeriai lowland swamp surrounds it. The scenery is therefore broad and quiet rather than mountainous: open water meets reeds, low shore, and woodland.

A public recreation area on one part of the shore

Lake Kapstatas fits naturally into a day around Endriejavas and Ablinga. An hour is enough to reach the shore, see the pontoon, and sit beside the water; allow 1-2 hours for a picnic shelter, the playground, bathing, and a slower walk on the paths.
