A manor farmstead by the Kruoja
Akmenėliai Manor Farmstead is at 6 Petrašiūnų Street in Akmenėliai village, Pakruojis District. The registered compound name is Akmenėlių palivarko sodyba, and visitors may also find it under the shorter Akmenėliai Estate name. The two names refer to the same place, not separate sites.
The coordinate represents the compound as a whole, not one room or a public car-park entrance.
The estate and Theodor von der Ropp
The Pakruojis Tourism Information Centre's historical account says that from 1780 the Akmenėliai farmstead belonged to German-born Baron Theodor von der Ropp. The municipality's strategic plan also includes the estate among the district's tourism resources.

The Stasys Ušinskas museum and Arkliukas
A museum dedicated to Lithuanian artist, puppeteer, stained-glass artist and scenographer Stasys Ušinskas was established at Akmenėliai in 2019. It gives the farmstead a distinctive cultural layer: a visit can connect the buildings with the memory of an artist rather than stopping at an exterior photograph.
In 2020, a marionette monument called Arkliukas was unveiled at the estate; the sculptor is identified as Danielius Sodeika. The museum and sculpture are parts of the farmstead's visitor content, not separate map destinations.
The Kruoja and a living estate story
The compound stands among century-old trees beside the Kruoja. The operator's historical account presents interwar Akmenėliai as a lively meeting place where people also swam in the river. That detail belongs to the past and should not be read as permission for public swimming today.
The courtyard fountain, brick gateway and rough-stone walls make the scale of the compound legible. Their condition and access depend on the private farmstead's rules, so photograph and walk only as the operators allow.
