Scala Dream Klaipėda, „Scala Dream“ laipiojimo centras
Finding the centre on Mainų Street
Scala Dream occupies the third floor in the northern wing of the building at 6 Mainų Street. Because its entrance is not a separate outdoor sports venue, first-time visitors should watch the official arrival video and allow time to reach reception.
Approximately 1,000 square metres contain low bouldering walls, a high wall, rope room, children's area, changing rooms, showers, and a small café. This is a commercial indoor centre, not a free municipal exercise ground.
Bouldering and the 11-metre high wall
Bouldering routes stay relatively low and use no rope, with continuous thick mats cushioning falls. Routes change regularly and use graded difficulty, allowing beginners and experienced climbers to find suitable problems in the same hall.
The 11-metre wall uses automatic or partner-controlled belaying. An instructor explains the essentials on a first visit, while visitors may belay another climber independently only after demonstrating the required skills and passing the centre's test.
First visits, equipment, and children
The official first-visit offer includes climbing shoes, a high-wall harness, safety instruction, the auto-belay wall, and bouldering. Wear flexible sports clothing and leave jewellery or anything that could catch on equipment in a locker.
Supervision of minors depends on age: all children must be accompanied and supervised, while an adult may sign the safety documents for a climber aged sixteen or over and then leave them to climb independently. Family sessions, groups, parties, and coaching use separate bookable programmes.
Opening hours, price, and booking
On 24 July 2026, the detailed contacts page listed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 16:00-21:30; Tuesday and Thursday 14:00-21:30; Saturday 10:00-18:00; and Sunday 12:00-18:00. The website footer gives a more general timetable, so use the detailed contact page and confirm by phone.
A first unlimited-duration visit with shoes, instruction, and high-wall equipment cost €12 on that date. Time in the centre is normally unlimited, but booking is recommended for first visits, groups, and events.
