A public municipal pool on Dubysos Street

Klaipėda Swimming Pool is a paid public sports and wellness complex at 12 Dubysos Street beside Švyturys Arena. UAB Klaipėdos baseinas operates it under a concession with Klaipėda City Municipality. It is not reserved for athletes: visitors may buy a single ticket and choose the pool, gym, or sauna zone.

The centre opened on 26 June 2018 after construction began in September 2016. Works cost 16.6 million euros. The 7,400-square-metre A+ energy-class building also carries a 130 kW solar installation.

Fifty-metre pool and adjustable depth

The main pool measures 50 by 25 metres and contains ten lanes. Its movable floor changes the depth, while a movable wall divides the water into separate zones. Training, teaching, and activities for different ability levels can therefore operate simultaneously.

Families also have a children's pool and a 25-metre pool. At selected weekend times, the small pool floor rises to approximately 70 centimetres, but schedules and lane availability change, so check them before arrival.

Nine-metre diving shaft and wellness facilities

The most distinctive technical feature is an eight-metre-wide, nine-metre-deep specialist shaft for training divers, rescuers, and military personnel. Up to fifteen divers can train at once. Access is not automatically included in an ordinary swim ticket and specialist activity must be arranged separately.

The complex also contains gym and group-exercise rooms, two saunas, two steam baths, an infrared sauna, six whirlpools, and cold-water plunge pools. Age limits or booking apply to certain services.

Opening hours, tickets, and rules

On 24 July 2026, the official price page listed service hours as Monday-Thursday 06:00-21:00, Friday 06:00-20:00, and weekends and public holidays 08:00-19:00. Competitions or maintenance can alter access, so recheck on the day.

A 90-minute pool-only ticket then cost €10 on weekdays before 16:00, €12 on weekday evenings, and €13 at weekends. Children aged three and under entered free, while those aged fifteen and under required an accompanying adult. On 24 July 2026, Google Maps showed 4.5 out of 5 from 1,801 reviews.
