Energetinis Labyrinth is in Varniūnai village, Širvėna elderate, Biržai District. It is a single-path outdoor labyrinth with a clear start and finish: you walk inward to the centre and return along the same winding route, so the experience is closer to a slow walk than a race.
The path is 307 metres long one way. A bench stands at the centre, inviting visitors to pause, breathe, and reflect. This is a quiet place, not a medical or scientifically measured procedure.
Field stones, a central bench, and open meadow
The labyrinth is made from about 800 field stones arranged in decreasing order, together with a similar number of decorative elements. Grey, brown, and pink stones of different sizes separate the winding route from the mown meadow, making the place interesting as a simple piece of landscape design as well.
There is no enclosed hall or tall hedge hiding the direction: the open fields, trees, and a small brick building remain visible from the labyrinth. This scale makes the route easy to understand, lets you notice the arrangement of the stones, and allows each group to choose its own pace.
How the Energetinis Labyrinth was conceived
In a hike described by the Biržai District Public Library, visitors met the labyrinth's founder, Virginijus Unglininkas, at the site. He explained the idea of creating a stone labyrinth on previously unproductive land, making the object both a personal initiative and part of local community routes.
Local descriptions say that walking towards the centre can symbolically release bad energy, while returning can recharge good energy. This is a local belief and interpretation of the experience, not health advice; you can simply walk the labyrinth calmly without accepting that explanation.
Walking the stone route safely
No permanent public opening schedule or ticket price is published. A donation box is described at the site, so you may want to carry small change, but the important step is to check whether the path is being maintained and accessible when you plan to go.
The labyrinth is outdoors and used at your own responsibility. After rain, stones, grass, and gaps in the path can be slippery, so wear sturdy shoes, do not move the stones, do not climb on the bench, and supervise children or pets so the route is not damaged.

Varniūnai fits naturally into a day route around Biržai District. You can combine the labyrinth with Kirkilai Karst Lakes, the observation tower, and other Biržai Regional Park sites, but allow for road surfaces, distances, and the actual approach conditions between the objects.
