313 Wake Park, 313 Cable Park Palanga, Užpelkiai wakeboard park
How a full-size cable wakeboard circuit works
At 313 Cable Park the rider is pulled not by a boat but by a continuously moving overhead cable suspended between towers. From the start dock, a rider takes a handle, glides across the surface, and completes the full circuit if they remain upright; after falling, they release the handle and swim safely to shore.
A circuit serves several people at once because separate handles travel along the cable at set intervals. Standard independent riding therefore follows a come-and-ride principle without booking a specific hour, although beginner sessions, courses, camps, and accommodation do require registration.
The park is not only about tricks. First objectives are a controlled start, holding the board on edge, negotiating corners, and finishing safely. Plastic ramps, boxes, and rails become relevant only after basic riding is stable.
Three circuits for three levels
The seven-tower Sesitec beginner circuit is 560 m long, carries seven handles, and has 11 features. It runs at a lower speed, has gentler corners, and uses a dock designed to make the first pull as progressive as possible.
The six-tower system for second-level and advanced riders extends 680 m, has nine handles in circulation, and holds 18 features. Riders can progress from simpler table, box, and pipe forms to rails, transitions, and more complex combinations.
The 610 m five-tower circuit is intended for advanced and professional riders; it has eight handles and 15 more technical features. All three systems turn anticlockwise, and the park lists 50 UNIT Parktech elements in total, arranged to provide lines for both regular and switch approaches.
From touring world parks to building in Užpelkiai
The wakeboard enthusiasts behind 313 visited different parks around the world before transferring their preferred solutions to Lithuania. The company was registered in 2017, construction at Užpelkiai was presented in early 2018, and the first season opened in summer 2018.
Sesitec founder Christian Lerchenfeld participated in designing the cable systems, and company specialists carried out installation. Wakeboarders themselves selected and arranged the features, so the site was conceived as training infrastructure from the outset rather than simply a seasonal swimming attraction.
Cable College later developed here to run coaching, adult courses, and children's camps. The school reports more than 6,000 course or camp graduates since 2020, while its progression plan divides skills into beginner, second-level, and advanced stages.
First visit: the two-hour beginner session
For a complete newcomer, the best choice is a scheduled two-hour group lesson rather than a standard one-hour ticket. A coach first explains the equipment and rehearses movement on land, approximately 90 minutes then follow on the slowed beginner circuit, and the session ends with advice on next steps.
The published €25 beginner ticket includes a learner board, buoyancy vest, helmet, and wetsuit. Participants should arrive about 30 minutes early and need bring only swimwear, a towel, and a full change of dry clothes.
The promise to learn in two hours is a teaching goal, not a guarantee for every person. Balance, fitness, confidence, and water conditions differ, and several controlled starts can be a good first outcome even without completing a full circuit.
Safety on the water and features
Every first-time rider must attend a safety briefing, be able to swim, and wear a buoyancy vest and helmet throughout. After a fall, the board should remain attached; riders watch for people approaching from behind, move towards shore promptly, and follow the operator's instructions.
Riding over features with a learner board or kneeboard is prohibited. Features higher than 0.5 m may be attempted only with sufficient skill, and the handle must be released immediately if danger develops; a trick must not threaten another person or park equipment.
For a visitor under 14, a parent, guardian, camp leader, or another responsible adult must read and sign the rules. Falls and injury remain possible even when rules are followed, so health, strength, and swimming ability need an honest assessment.
2026 prices, season, and a practical stay
In July 2026, published prices are €20 for one hour, €25 for two hours or a beginner session, and €35 for a full day. A learner board, vest, and helmet are included; a pro board or wetsuit costs €5 for two hours and €15 for a day. Children under 14 receive a 30% discount.
The park operates seasonally from May until the end of September, depending on weather. Its official website does not maintain one fixed table of daily hours, while competitions, camps, and opening dates can alter operation, so check the park's current updates or call on the day rather than relying on an old timetable.
The complex has equipment hire, changing and rest facilities, a bar with a terrace, cabins, and apartments. Accommodation is available without joining a camp but must be reserved and paid for separately; pets are not allowed in the general park area.
The address is Mokyklos g. 82 in Užpelkiai, coordinates 55.951608, 21.148217, about 8 km from Palanga. Drivers approach towards Darbėnai through Žibininkai, while cyclists should plan from Palanga using current road and path conditions.
